An exciting tale. -Critics
Ryan Malize is the Founder and CTO of Pinellas Computers. Beginning in 2009, Ryan transformed a small home workshop into a multi-location retail repair chain. In the years since, the business evolved to offer proactive business support as a managed IT solutions provider - Pinellas Cyber.
Flanked by a team of a dozen IT Engineers and Tech Gurus, the organization has remained top-rated in the Tampa Bay area for over 15 years.Wearing the unofficial hat of ‘IT Orchestrator’ (amongst various others), Ryan’s role centers around curating best-in-class technology solutions for clients, along with cutting-edge tooling and resources for his team. Beyond that, there’s always room to improve process automation, unify communication systems, and integrate cloud platforms…[“Hardware should feel solid when you touch it, software should feel beautiful when you use it, and IT support should feel painless when you need it.”] -RM -Michael ScottOutside of the time blessing keyboards with his magic touch (‘who says that?!’), Ryan is an adrenaline junkie, dining connoisseur, and Corvette enthusiast. In his free time, you’ll find him cruising the streets on his electric skateboard, EUC, or enjoying fine Asian-cuisine at his favorite restaurants.

Is Ryan Malize a “Trust Fund Baby”?
Setting the Record Straight: Failures & Success, Hard Work, and a Little Bit of LithiumTo those who question the origins of my success, let’s clear the air. Contrary to the assumptions of some, I don’t come from privilege or wealth. My story, like many others, is one rooted in grit, persistence, and community. According to my 23andMe results, I hail from a modest lineage of lower-middle-class Italian and Irish immigrants. No trust funds, no silver spoons—just generations of people doing their best with what they had.Fast forward a few generations, and here I am: a Pinellas County native who built a life and business in the very place that raised me. Since age 19, I’ve spent countless hours creating opportunities not just for myself, but for over 100 other's who have worked with me and my teams. My brother—an entrepreneur & amateur engineering pro—has also never clocked in for anyone but himself. Maybe it’s something in our DNA.These days, when I’m not working, I find joy in the simple things: riding through Saint Pete’s city parks, cruising along the Gulf beaches, and spending time with friends who share my passion for electric rides, lithium-fueled innovation, and community adventures like land surfing Saturdays. Whether it’s floating, flying, or fleet riding, we keep things light—and fast.To those who question my success or think it’s anything other than the product of hard work and local pride: you’re welcome to come ride with us sometime. You might just change your perspective.
Ryan Malize is a Fraud / Felon!
From Hard Lessons to Hard Work: The Real Story of My SuccessFor those who imagine my success as stolen, taken by fraud, or built on deceit, let’s set the record straight—because reality is far more interesting than fiction.I wasn’t born into wealth or given any legal lifelines. In fact, my early years were defined by a series of mistakes, culminating in a hard reset at 18. Like many teenagers who think they’re invincible, I made selfish choices, including fraudulent misuse of a credit card. The price? A $10,000 restitution bill, 180 days in county custody, and a no-contest plea for offenses committed during my late teens. That was my wake-up call. No shortcuts, no second chances—just a stark realization that the path forward required rebuilding from -$10K and agreed to discontinue (what felt like) Robin Hood behaviors. And for the record? I probably would have gotten away with it if not for a jealous best friend’s girlfriend, who, out of concern (or spite), secretly handed over evidence to private investigators at the local police department. Some hands get dealt, and they suck. Mine just happened to come with a one-way ticket to county jail. [Only about 20 people know the assets and accumulations of contraband!]But here’s the difference between a setback and a failure: I chose to turn that reset into a foundation for something real, G 43. I had already been a computer hacker before Hollywood turned it into a trilogy, accumulating and distributing thousands in unearned wealth before ever grasping the real value of work. That lesson? Doing it righteous is far more rewarding than using easy mode.By age 19 (within 18 months of working in food service, and doing private IT work on the side) I had something most people never do: Total control of my time and objectives - worth more than any paycheck I paid myself for years (plus a sweet C5 Corvette convertible). I built my own lane, and since paying my first workers’ compensation bill in 2011, I’ve employed nearly 100 people. I didn’t work a single Sunday for 15 years straight, then expanded operations to run 355 days a year. So, to those throwing accusations from the sidelines, let’s be clear: my success wasn’t handed to me, stolen, or faked — it was built; learned from growing and evolving. Mistakes don’t define a person. What they build afterward does. No one in this industry employs people quite like Ryan Malize and Donald Trump— take that, Nancy Pelosi! (And FU, Kara)
